Whether you’re young or “young at heart”, enjoy the outdoors by playing a Winter Scavenger Hunt game with us.
How to Hunt
The Winter Nature Scavenger Hunt challenges you to explore some of the key locations, lookouts and features of Scenic Caves.
The adventure leads you on a journey along a well-marked path all the way to the Suspension Bridge (roughly 1 km. return).
Depending on the weather conditions, lace up your hiking boots…or if there’s snow, strap on your snowshoes.
Scavenger Hunt Map
Pick up a Scavenger Hunt map at the main cabin and hunt for 15 clues. Keep an eye open for colourful snowshoes which mark the spots. There are interesting facts to read about at each location.
Circle the clue on your map with the marker provided, bring your sheet back to the main cabin, then open up the treasure chest!
There are no time pressures, no skill-testing questions.
Just lots of fun for all ages and prizes to be won.
Scenic Caves Nature Adventures is situated at the highest point of the Niagara Escarpment, set in one of Canada’s sixteen UNESCO biosphere reserves featuring spectacular lookouts and panoramic views of south Georgian Bay. It’s a “superbly natural” location to scavenger hunt for clues on the property.
