PLAN YOUR VISIT
The self guided walking
trails through the caves, caverns and to the suspension bridge takes
approx. 2 hours to complete. Please allow extra time for additional
activities.
 What
to Wear and Bring
- IMPORTANT: Wear hiking boots or
athletic type footwear - dress shoes, high-heels and sandals are
not permitted .
- Dress for the day's weather. Be advised that the weather at
the top of Blue Mountain can sometimes be a bit brisker than in
Town.
- For the Gemstone Mining and Mini Golf, all equipment is provided
on site.
- For the Treetop Walk, each visitor will be provided with a harness,
helmet, gloves and zipline pulley. Reservations are required for
the treetop walk.
- If desired, you can bring a camera as there are many opportunities
to take wonderful nature shots. Click

- Sorry, no pets are permitted.

for tips. Strollers are not permitted on the Caves tour. However,
we do have baby front/backpack carriers available on site.
Picnicking and Food Services
Food and beverages are available at the Snack Bar located in the
main building of Scenic Caves Nature Adventures. And in July and
August, our resident cook fires up our outdoor bar-b-que and prepares
delicious grilled hot dogs and sausages.
You may also bring your own food & beverages to enjoy in our
picnic areas. Alcoholic beverages and glass bottles are not permitted.

- Muskoka chairs around the Trout Pond for resting/lounging
For the Disabled
Unfortunately, it would be impossible for someone
with severe physical disabilities to hike through the caves because
of the steep inclines and rocky terrain. The hike does require some
physical agility and balance. We regret that we cannot accommodate
the disabled at this time.
