Ski trails are a lot better than we expected and are pretty good for skiing considering the last warm spell.  Track set is limited as we don’t want to turn up any dirt or rocks, but there are tracks on the 3 main trails and great for getting out with family or to get the legs going.  All of the upper Southern trails are open and in pretty good shape  for skating or classic with out tracks.  Come on out and check out our new Lookout point just off of Ridge Runner and Escarpment Run, called “Ridge Top Lookout”.  On a clear day its really spectacular and offers a great view of the huge valley between us and Osler mtn.

The snowshoe trails are in pretty good shape as well with the new snow and we have the 2 new trails to check out.  The new “Ridge Top” Trail is just off Ironman and has direct access to the Ridge Top Lookout.  The other new trail “Wild West” goes through a new forest that has some nice rolling terrain and even some evergreen trees that always look great in the winter!

Thank you and Merry Christmas from all of the Nordic team!

Early season conditions are highly changeable and trails are open weather-permitting. Check this Trail Report or call before you come to the Nordic Centre.
